When I was small I did not daydream about jetpacks, flying cars or space travel. I daydreamed about crop circles, arcane alphabets, secret places, Gods hidden in nature. I think that's why I'm making an adventure game.

I finished it today, and truly enjoyed it. Has really made me want to play more classic point-and-click adventure games like this -- I do have a bunch of releases from Wadjet Eye Games (the publisher of this) in my Steam library, so should tackle some of those.

Pinterest used to be the best place to get ideas on how to decorate and furnish a room, but the site has been utterly taken over by AI slop. Urg. I hate it.

I didn't want to say anything immediately after finishing it, but I think @wadjeteyegames.bsky.social Old Skies is so good that it might have rekindled my love of point & click adventure games. I played a *lot* of them in high school/college, then went a long time playing them only rarely.

Closed on a house and we will be moving again next month. I’ve suddenly gotten REALLY into DIY videos on YouTube. Are the two things connected? Does this just magically happen when you become a house owner for the first time? You gain an insatiable desire for knowledge on how to reseal a driveway?

Also Old Skies is just a seriously good game, like really good. If you like smart point&clicks and don't get this one, I cannot help you. It had me choke up at several points, and also laugh out loud; it is well written and the acting by Sally and Ed is superb (and they both are just treasures too).
