CBP didn’t give her or anyone any water; she asked 3 times accg to other reports. CBP killed a 7yr old.

Met him at SGF last year and loved doing so. Felt like he had such an understanding of what he wants Mixtape to be, and a deep appreciation for all the music and nostalgia the game taps into. One of my most anticipated games for sure.

Having the team that did Observation take on Silent Hill is so exciting. Been waiting years for this. Glad we're finally seeing bits of it now. It looks fantastic.

The team spoke about how a new business model would need to emerge, because free-to-play games that debut without “escape velocity” can be doomed quickly. I think one change we’ve seen since this 2023 interview is an emphasis on co-op PvE games, priced reasonably and endlessly replayable.

One of my favorite things I’ve published is this interview with the Knockout City team. I feel like you don’t see a lot of studios speaking so openly of their struggles like this. Knockout City was an all-timer, man.

I'm pleased to unveil my new weekly newsletter: Remastered! Inspired by my Save State column for Digital Trends, Remastered is all about how video game history and retro games impact what we play today. It'll feature editorials, interviews, and reviews on that subject authored by me. It's also free!

So @lessusefulthings.com just informed me that AEW is heading to Minnesota soon for a show. Yeah, this is about to be the biggest story in wrestling.

I’m sure this won’t lead to fans chanting it during every match instead of just King’s matches. Smart play.

It helped when I lived on the east coast and could see 2-4 shows per tour within a few hours of driving across a few days. I once saw them four times in six days—Portland Maine, Boston, Pawtucket Rhode Island, and Philly. What a summer. 😅

This is part of the sexual politics of meat, so many ads for mammalian milk show cows happy to share their nursing product; smiling, skinny, thinking only of the consumer. Most ads omit, of course, their children for whom the milk was meant.
& if I could broadcast one message to the world it would be that there is absolutely no good reason to mass produce another mammal for its breast milk. It will never not be an unmitigated atrocity. And I can't believe how poorly understood it still is among those who should know better

For the first time since 2022, I’m over at @gamespot.com, discussing the 10th anniversary of Firewatch and hypothesizing about why games like this just don’t seem to break through anymore in the 2020s.

If you were a pro wrestler, what song would you use for your entrance music?

(I know everyone else thinks about this too, so don’t even pretend.)

I think I’d go with Thursday’s Jet Black New Year.

That was my second time seeing them—first was November 18, 2006. I’d end up seeing them 38 times in 15 years, with the last being in 2021 before their split. I still believe they’ll be back one day, if only for some reunion sets.

May 8, 2007. It’s my 18th birthday, and I’m going to see MCR with my dad.

Muse was set to open, but couldn’t make it. Circa Survive, my favorite band (favorite THING!) in the world, is filling in, which we only learn when we arrive.

I tear this sign from the door and keep it forever.
