That said, the market for point-and-clicks this year has never been more crowded. The Drifter is probably the de facto "winner" (it's sales have dwarfed all other point-and-clicks this year!) by the OP's metric, but it's success hasn't magically made all the other games fail. We've all done fine.

The fact that I've been doing this for so long leaves me unqualified to answer this question. Wadjet Eye is a "known" entity. Any marketing move I make is done with the knowledge that I have 20 years of experience/clout/growth backing me up. I have no idea how to start from scratch today.

You don’t know me, but if this is me last chance to say it, I want to say Dragon Wars was the first RPG to get its teeth into me. That final boss battle is still the most satisfying I ever played. I still have fond memories of throwing that jerk into the pit years later.

The price tag kept me away from DQ3, but two remakes for the same price feels less expensive!
