I was once a member of the NRA, including back in the Obama Admin days when they were screaming that the 2A and the right to bear arms was needed to potentially oppose a tyrannical government that was <checks notes> giving them healthcare coverage. They were completely full of sh*t back then too.
The new conservative position on gun control is apparently that lawfully carrying a licensed handgun means you deserve to be executed in the street by masked federal agents

He was primarily a NJ guy, but if you grew up in the '70s/'80s anywhere in the NYC/NJ metro area and knew where to find him on the UHF television dial, Uncle Floyd was necessary viewing. RIP. 😢

If you are anxious and sad about the state of the world, that's fine, and there are plenty of strategies for dealing with that. But I think you already know that drive-by online dooming isn't a strategy. It's selfish and adolescent. It's a contagion that only spreads the worst of you, not the best.
