You know, some of us were alive back then and we remember a lot of the absolute crap automobiles that America produced during that period which helped contribute to the near-destruction of the U.S. automobile industry. 🤨

Lighting the tree in Rock Center at 10pm ET is just too late. As a kid in NYC in the early '70s, there was no dragged out national broadcast show. It was just the local WNBC-NY news team coming on at 7:30pm, doing a show with some local performers, the tree being lit at 8pm, and then off to bed. 🌲
