My first video has to be Eddie, our (legal, registered) desert tortoise, shoving open the door and coming into our/his house. If we don’t close the door all the way, he will do this almost every day. He doesn’t usually stay long, just checks to make sure we’re keeping things up to his standards. 🐢

I also had two seperate people come in and tell me how lucky I was to be able to enjoy that new book smell while at work, and I had to agree. 'Parfum de nouveaux livres' is the best.

The worst thing about the phrase "what is this place?" is once you notice it, you'll see it being used ALL OVER in movies and tv and comics and prose, everywhere, over and over again.
The second-worst thing is realizing there's a place where it'd be really handy in your own story >:(
