Washed my lounging trousers and put to dry on the radiator overnight. Donning pre-heated cosy trousers was an absolute delight. 10/10 would recommend

This sitcom episode has a repeated gag that an ordinary person is called Pamela Anderson, which is kind of ruining it because I used to have a colleague called Pamela Anderson and am thus fully trained in not laughing at the name.

Much of Europe and N.America: There is a ten foot snowdrift against my front door, it's -40 degrees, and it took me 2 hours to get to the cornershop on sheet ice.

The work safes have been (sensibly) rearranged and I was told one was now archive and the other library. Turns out one is archive and the other is *everything else including library* as I discovered when I opened a box and found the architect's death mask staring back at me.
