I think one of the saddest things about being a millennial is remembering a time when technology was advancing in a way that made life better and easier and more exciting instead of actively, intentionally worse

As Trump tries to dismantle the Department of Education, remember that his plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% would give the 100 largest corporations a tax cut larger than the entire department's K-12 budget.

Really think about how twisted this all is.

10,000 King Soopers workers are currently on strike for better pay and working conditions.

Instead of negotiating in good faith, parent company Kroger has been using scabs and prioritized $7.5B in stock buybacks.

Don't tell me they can't afford to pay a living wage.

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies.

Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE.

Funny how that works, huh?

Costco, which has come out saying it supports DEI, will make no changes to its existing programs, AND pays workers a minimum of $30/hour, is up 15% YTD.

Target, which announced it is ending all DEI programs and has a minimum wage of $15-$24/hour, is down over 4%.

Keep voting with your wallet.

I wonder why Musk is focused on the federal civilian workforce (4% of the budget) and not federal contractors, which account for 3x more annual spending and are more prone to waste, fraud, and abuse?

Halting spending approved by Congress.

Firing independent inspectors general from federal agencies.

Replacing civil servants with loyalists.

All plans pulled from Project 2025.

Remember when Trump denied knowing about the playbook and the media gave him a pass?

democrats will continue to lose and lose and lose forever because leftists being rude online is "radical violence" but starving thousands of women and children to death is "policy" and guess which one they're committed to condemning
Broader agreement that it to applies to discretionary spending payments (Head Start, WIC, etc).

Raw milk is one of those ideas that can really only take hold when people haven't seen a cow. if you see a cow from let's say ten feet or less you immediately understand the problem that pasteurization is solving

Eight years ago -- on the morning after the 2016 election -- I was slated to give the opening keynote at a conference. Instead of giving my planned talk, I felt I had to try to reason about what we had seen the night before... 1/
