For my #Atlantis trilogy, the magic is crystal-based because that's part of old Atlantis lore, thanks to some goofy Victorian mystics 😅 I'd be lying if I said I wasn't also inspired by Disney's take on Atlantis.
The system itself is also hugely influenced by alchemy in FMA:B.🧵1/4
