Knew Ikoku Nikki was going to be good because the source material rules and the staff's good, but goddamn what an amazing first episode. So far brilliant structure to bypass pacing issues, direction that really understands the core of the series, and waaaay better animation than it'll get credit for

There's going to be a lot in 2026. We knew 2025 was only the start and the news will be non-stop. I will be trying my absolute best to continue creating and posting art. This is not an attempt to ignore everything going on, but an attempt at balance.
Just in case anyone out there feels like they shouldn’t post art - please do. The constant bullshit from the news is difficult but we can’t allow all of that to stop us from making art and sharing it. That’s all I have to say rn - am planning to enjoy the rest of my weekend working on sketches.

One of the unexpected struggles of becoming older is clearly letting go of past version of yourself through stuff. I have stuff I'm sentimentally attached to but didn't used for year and don't want to use anymore. Wouldn't miss it if lost. But can't find the strenght to threw it away either.
