The caretaker PM is running scared and resorting to more smears because he knows the game is up.

Labour is sinking in Gorton and Denton and it’s left to the Greens to challenge the far right threat of Reform.

Island of strangers? No. An Island of hope and unity.
Politics UK: β€˜NEW: Keir Starmer will attack the Greens and Reform at the Munich Security Conference tomorrow for being "soft on Russia and weak on NATO"

"[They are] determined to sacrifice the longstanding relationships that we want and need to build, on the altar of their ideology"1/

β€œIf you’ve lived in Greater Manchester all your life like I have, or you came here yesterday β€” if you’re part of our community and you’re mucking in, you’re one of us.”

Our candidate for Gorton and Denton, Hannah Spencer, rejects the demonisation of immigrants and calls for politics that unite.

I’m so keeping my fingers crossed. πŸ€žπŸ’š

I see so many despondent folk say they might vote RefUk because they’re something β€˜different’, genuinely not knowing that they really aren’t & they certainly won’t represent their interests in any way, shape or form.

Does he do eulogies? I can’t imagine AI would do a very humane or sensitive job of that.

Also weddings aren’t so popular these days, but people will always die!

Absolutely brilliant take-down by @fionaharvey.bsky.social
of ludicrous myths & misinformation spouting from Tony Blair’s think tank. Why on earth does he think it’s sensible to make our energy more costly & less secure?
Tony Blair’s oil lobbying is a misleading rehash of fossil fuel industry spin
Ex-PM’s thinktank urges more drilling and fewer renewables, ignoring evidence that clean energy is cheaper and better for bills

Kitchen sponges like these release microplastics that end up in the sea – harming marine environments and the animals that live there. And they can't be recycled, so remain in landfill for hundreds of years. For eco-friendly sponges see: littlegreenspace.org.uk/reviews/seep...

I’d add that this is the β€˜controlling’ culture.

There are alternative cultures, who value tall trees. But we are ignored & trampled on by those who look at these as β€˜getting in the way’ of their phallic sky scrapers.
