Today on cooking with CJ, I needed to make a milder recipe for my stuffed bell peppers. (GERD is no joke). So I came up with this absolutely delicious recipe if I do say so myself.

What shocked me was that actually understood what I meant about using animal derived filtration and "fining agents" for beer and wine!

So many people want to "debate" animal rights activists. I can't even imagine wanting to take a side that advocates for abuse, exploitation, torture, rape, kidnapping babies, and killing.

I live trapped an adorable shrew tonight. She probably tracked an insect through the house foundation. She's going to spend the night in a special hotel I made for her and then go outside tomorrow when it's a bit warmer. I learned a lot about shrews tonight. I'll put some fun facts in the comments.

This lady today infuriated me because she reminded me of a racist in the South when I was a little kid. But then again there's no difference between a speciesist and a racist and a sexist... They all see themselves as being superior to others.

Haven't posted any meals for a while. Here's an experiment that actually turned out really well! I got the seasonings down perfect so that it wasn't too salty or too bland.
..Maybe next time I'll try to write it down so I'll get it right the next time after that 😂

Did you know much of the processed sugar in the US is filtered using bone char? (Including pig bones) 🦴 This is a huge heads-up for the #vegan crowd and those following #Halal or #Kosher diets. To keep it 100% plant-based or religious-compliant, opt for organic sugar or beet sugar instead!
