Holidays like this make me glad that I live really far away from my family. And if they did live close, I would always be hosting food based get togethers where I could guarantee that everything would be fully vegan.

None of the stores had non-dairy whipped cream this year....
Me: "screw it! I can make my own with a 99 cent can of chickpeas, a dash of vanilla, some organic powdered sugar, and a few min with the mixer on high"

I don't know why this sounded good this morning for breakfast. I've got a busy work day and I thought a big hearty breakfast would be good. Beyond bratwurst, Just Egg omelette with faken bits, vegan baked beans, and tater tots coated in nutritional yeast and pepper garlic.

Today on cooking (and baking) with CJ, I took the opportunity during my cold snowy day to make a batch of smokey cheddar flavored cashew cheese, and experimented with a snickerdoodle pumpkin pie recipe... I used cinnamon Catalina crunch cereal as the base on that one...
