Sounds like what didn’t work was electing and empowering “Third Way” “moderate” “centrists” instead of real Democrats.
Had to write about Angus King's declaration that "standing up to Trump didn't work" because I've never heard anything bleaker in my life.

How about a prequel set in 1965: “The Return of Goldfinger?”
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Welcome to the heart of Dixie, where the state can’t afford to install sewerage in Black neighborhoods but can afford a billion-dollar prison.
Via Andrea Tinker: A $1 billion prison under construction in Elmore County will open about five months later than planned, and the state is looking to borrow money for an Escambia County prison, an Alabama senator said Monday. https://ow.ly/X7bX50XpKJe

Hate to praise Das Politico, but this was a good piece.

Among other things, it described how Melech Bibi’s refusal to let the PA play a role in Gaza has led to a governance vacuum now being filled by 7,000 armed Hamas troops.

What a victory!

Great job white people voting for a Mad King who thinks that feeding the hungry is “disgraceful.”
President Trump criticized the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) during a Fox News interview tonight, saying people "get it automatically now so the number is many times what it should be, it's disgraceful."
Trump says "we can reform" SNAP
"SNAP is supposed to be if you are down and out," Trump said on Fox News this evening.

“Einknicken” is a really good German word because even if you don’t know German you know exactly what those eight Democratic Senators did.

Trump on Air Traffic Controllers: The one’s that stayed, I'm sending them a $10,000 bonus.

Ingraham: Where is that money coming from?

Trump: I don't know.

Yes all the polls are fake and Republicans should ignore them. This is very good advice from a genius.
Ingraham: Why are people saying they are anxious about the economy?

Trump: I don’t know that they are saying that. I think the polls are fake.

Oh, Sarah, the torture and subversion of democracy carried out by the Bush-Cheney Regime, which you supported, has got be a strong runner-up in the moral and intellectual humiliation Olympics.
“Anyone who helps me try to steal an election gets a pardon” is perhaps the most corrupt thing to happen in American history.

That “conservatives” have simply accepted this as the price of admission is the greatest moral and intellectual humiliation.
NEW: Donald Trump has pardoned a long list of allies in his bid to subvert the 2020 election including:

-Rudy Giuliani
-John Eastman
-Mark Meadows
-Sidney Powell
-Ken Chesebro
-Christina Bobb
-Kelli Ward
-Jenna Ellis

This is the only upside to the Craven Eight’s miserable surrender: Johnson will have to seat Grijalva and there will be 218 votes to release the Epstein Files.
Whatever will Trump do? Ending the shutdown means bringing back the House for a vote on the Epstein files.

Angus King: "This initial strategy didn't work. And now we have one. We're gonna have a guaranteed vote on the ACA, and it may not succeed. I grant that. But a reasonable chance -- 10, 20, 30% -- is a lot better than 0% which is where we were."

These lawless murders on the high seas are on every single Republican who kept silent or voted against banning them, with plenty of blame left over for the.previous generations of GOP neocons who advocated for war crimes based on lies.
Absolutely, positively. And for the Caribbean boat strikes, too.

Certainly a big step up from Harvey Mansfield.
