STEPHANOPOULOS: Why wasn't congressional authorization necessary?

RUBIO: It wasn't necessary because this was not an invasion. We didn't occupy a country. This was an arrest operation.

Angus: We see this attack as setting the stage for an attack where Trump could go anywhere. The same language he’s used against Venezuela, he’s used against Canada—and he sees that we have immense resources. The difference is, good luck thinking that you are going to break the Canadian people.

THIS WAS AN ACT OF WAR AND A VIOLATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAW.

But put that aside for a second…

What’s wild is that Marco Rubio isn’t even pretending anymore. He’s not hiding that the invasion of Venezuela is about oil.

This is going to end up a dumpster fire…

This reinforces my opinion that the US likely had permission from the military establishment to take Maduro.

The majority of the venezuelan military was not injured by maduros capture, and the oligarchs on the national council led by Cabello and the VP are both already making moves for power.

One point I made in this post is that Diosdado Cabello, currently Venezuela's interior minister and one of the key players in the trafficking, remains in the newly unsealed indictment. He was the first person to condemn the invasion yesterday.

IMV Cabello is too far gone and too exposed to accept a deal where he can't manouevre around the US. With him in play any Trump deal can fall apart overnight as the regime splits into rival factions

Venezuelans who celebrated Trump yesterday just realized they’re going to be deported with 900,000 others into the arms of a dictatorship with long memories.

WAIT. HOLD UP WTF? Trump says American wants to run Venezuela with a transitional government until safe elections.
Him and what army?

He left the dictators senior commanders in charge.

This ain’t going to happen.

He changed leadership, not the regime

INTEL QUESTION: Did one of Maduro's ambitious deputies give up the intelligence/perimeter control necessary to get him in bed?

Was he already captured when Delta touched down?

Because no one else on the leadership have been deposed. It was about Maduro ONLY

It feels like Maduro got sold out.

Trump pardoned & released the drug king-pin who was a former president of Honduras

But has now kidnapped Venezuela's Maduro calling him a drug king-pin

But really... it's about regime change and the oil.

It has nothing to do w/ Fentanyl

This is OUTRAGEOUS!
