Statement from Illustrators Ireland on genAI. Any writer or musician worth their salt would care enough about their own work to avoid the use of genAI images. Damaging other workers in the arts for short-term gain is incredibly selfish and hugely disappointing.

I made a point of not using Gen AI for our podcast art. I sought out an artist and shared with them my idea and paid for their work.
