If you have “sincere concerns” about trans athletes in sports, all it means is that you have given yourself a rationale for your bigotry that you sincerely believe exonerates you for aligning to a far-right tactic for marginalization and exclusion.

🙃🙃🙃
Is today's puzzle game scene interesting? 'No, I don't think it is,' says Jonathan Blow, even though there are 'really good games in the past' devs could look to for inspiration
"If it's just a difficulty challenge that's not really that interesting."

ICYMI: Genocide scholars are warning that the U.S. is in the process of genocide against transgender Americans.

women *must* be visible

but you're punished if you are
and you're punished if you're not
the punishment? they make you visible, of course!

it's the digital age of mandatory sexual availability!
rape culture 2.0
The end goal of Grok sexual harassment is to make women afraid to be visible. It’s a punishment for daring to exist in a way the perpetrators can’t control. There’s no one solution to this, because the problem isn’t just technological. It’s cultural. It’s misogyny. This is just one expression of it.

Good. Ban them.
An open letter to the Government warning that its plans for a “full, trans-inclusive ban on conversion practices” could “criminalise mainstream, historic Christian teaching on marriage and sexual ethics, and make sharing the Gospel with some people illegal” has more than 5000 signatories.

Full ban on conversion therapy would ‘criminalise mainstream Christian teaching’, Government told

That's one devilish form of gaslighting we've been facing for years now, and I'm absolutely not over it.
How people can still believe that the law will somehow do something about fascism is beyond me, but I guess being part of multiple marginalized groups informs my reflexion in ways most people
Remember when I had Pope hat and the rest of the neoliberal pissbabies screaming I was a doomer earlier this summer for clearly articulating the fact that the law is a social construct, and that the law wouldn’t stop fascism,
But in fact, it would be warped into something that solidifies fascism?

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
