The Wicked For Good trailer I've been forced to watch during the Olympics makes the entire film look like a love story between Glinda and Elphaba. And while, let's be real, it's not NOT, it also absolutely isn't. And it just feels like queerbaiting in a way I really don't like.

In a nutshell, the Dem lodestar should be: "ICE is bad, and immigration is good"
My theory of the moment: The extraordinary courage of ordinary people in places like Minneapolis is reawakening us to our social and economic ties to immigrants. It's making "love thy neighbor" cool again. That's the ultimate antidote to MAGA hate.

The question is always, if this company is worth a trillion dollars what trillion dollar problem is it fixing and the only possible answer to that question in the instance of A.I. is “wages.”
AI guys insisting on the inevitability of the tech are so irritating. every comparison they make is to something whose utility was immediately apparent. "it does things faster and we can fix its mistakes later and that'll be the job now" does not compare to "metronome that doesn't need winding"
