Gross. Shame on the NYT.
To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?
“would you like photos of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?” -Jeffrey Epstein

You have to understand what pieces like this from the NYT are and are not.

They are not an honest assessment of the state of politics today.

They are a negotiation tactic—an effort by a calcified, right-leaning legacy institution to steer the discourse in a direction more palatable to elites.

I'm glad I went for a hike at the dusk after sunset. The dim pink lighting on the snowy hills and tundra was absolutely gorgeous.

Is it weird to say Happy Remembrance Day? I'm seeing people wish that to each other.

I'm respectful of everyone's rites of observance on this day. I don't wear poppies but I have in the past. I also think the virtue signalling and aggro behaviours around Remembrance Day are whack. I saw one of those "NO XMAS STUFF BEFORE NOV 11" loons post this today. Behold, the poppy tree.

Frankenstein is one of my favourite books. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) starring Robert DeNiro, Kenneth Branagh and Helena Bonham-Carter is still the most faithful to the book of all the movies. I'm a bit of a purist on this particular story.
I watched the new adaptation by Guillermo del Toro and enjoyed it immensely. It veers off the book in a few major ways, both in plot and theme but it is a beautiful film. You can't go wrong with Guillermo. I need to rewatch the 1994 film but I think it would still be my favourite Frankenstein.

Reminds me of Bill O’Reilly saying, ‘Tide comes in, tide goes out, you can’t explain that!’ 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hate that I have to assess almost every video, photo or piece of text I see and ask “is this AI generated?”

Life is too short for this BS.
