the BBC should apologise with a montage of all the times Trump showed support for 6 Jan and they should get the person who does the end of World Cup montage to do it

Barely mentioned but that now notorious Trump Panorama *wasn’t made by the BBC*

It was an indie production (as so much is)

Even if was BBC, head of news or DG would wouldn’t have been involved in edits

Ah, Captain Archibald Maule Ramsay MP, BBC critic and (checks notes) a pro-Nazi who the wartime Churchill coalition interned.
February 1937 Tory campaign against BBC "bias". To be fair, if Captain Maule Ramsay was leading the charge, "left-wing" probably covered everything up to and including Mussolini...

'They were those like Sir Oswald Mosley who were fascinated by the spectacle of brutal power. They would like to use it themselves. They grovelled to Nazi dictatorship in order that they could make people in their turn grovel to them'

Winston Churchill, 1936
Conservative Shadow Culture Secretary Nigel Huddleston tells GB News that the BBC should "grovel" to Trump.

Amazing how many British 'patriots' are spending their time telling our national broadcaster to prostrate itself before a hostile foreign leader

I will restate my modest proposal to save the BBC: ban the BBC from covering itself.

Every BBC scandal goes huge, because every BBC News show wants to assert its independence by covering it prominently, even if several other shows already did. So it gets blanket headlines.

You can be assured that tendentious memo by Michael Prescott, and the co-ordinated combination of the Telegraph, Mail, Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and the White House means that the BBC hit job has been long in the planning, and has some insider help

My biro 🖊️ drawing of Alduin from Skyrim.

Drawn in 2017 on white A4 (8"x12") paper. The dark background areas were drawn in sharpie.

I used to draw in biro all the time, when I was a nipper, it's an underrated tool!

He imagines bringing to an end century of public service broadcasting in the UK - because the populist politician and his US political ally Donald Trump do not want the BBC to survive

Because, if you actually know anything about development, the more complicated something is, the longer it takes to develop. People want bigger, better, flashier and more 4k. The more of this you demand, the more complicated it is, the longer the development cycle. 🤷‍♂️ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
