When I was on 60 Minutes it there was most of a year of prep work for the episode. Multiple preliminary meetings just for my segment alone. Their work is thoroughly researched.
I find it extremely unlikely they found something journalistically questionable at the 11th hour.

In that one Blink-182 song where guy says "Please don't look at me with those eyes" I imagine he's on a date with a girl who has this mutation where she has an extra set of eyes on her forearm or something and he's trying to be chill about it but they keep staring and it's skeeving him out.
