This is absolutely terrible from a media consolidation standpoint. These conglomerates need to be broken up. However, it does mean the Ellisons will not consolidate control. So there's a silver lining.

There were penalties, including prison time, for some US servicemembers over Abu Ghraib. Where there were no penalties were those involved in "enhanced interrogations" during the Bush Administration, deemed as torture by the Obama Administration.

As a former prosecutor, I know a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich. The grand jury’s refusal today to indict Letitia James shows this case should never have been brought.
