On the way to Crescent City, we stopped at Oregon Caves National Monument, then hiked on the 3.5 mile "Big Tree" trail. Holly assumed there would be many big trees, but like the trail name, there was really only one—the largest diameter Douglas Fir in Oregon, but not very tall.
