We can keep clutching our pearls and shouting “this is illegal,” but nothing changes until he is stopped. Strongly worded letters won’t help. Congressional condemnations won’t help. He needs to be impeached and sent to jail. Full stop. Anything less keeps us sliding deeper into hell.

Arguably, that line was crossed the moment Trump made it clear he sided with Russia. This attack on Venezuela is consistent with Trump's other lawless actions around the world, including in Ukraine.
My bet is China will invade Taiwan, and Trump will accept it as a good and proper (ab)use of power.
