As long as I live I will never understand how 77 million people witnessed January 6th but voted for corruption and greed.
We will be asking this question for the next 3 years. Our government doesn’t care. The Republicans in Congress don’t care. Our systems of checks and balances are failing. We can file lawsuits and protest but without congress doing its job, we are screwed. Our only hope is to vote them out.
It’s a new day in New York City, and Zohran Mamdani is asking a fundamental question that everyone else across the country should also be asking:
Who should our government work for?
