People are hungry to do something that isn't doomscrolling or texting money to dems, they just need an invite, a plug, an on-ramp. It needn't be (and won't be) an epic battle. It'll be a grind-- meetings. But you'll have more power in that room than you did separately, and you'll feel better too.

I've somehow convinced myself I'm too bad at art to be hired for it, but too exhausted and burned out to practice. Why is it the fun things that go first? And if I can't make money on art I'll have to go back to an exhausting job.

I feel so sad for this screencapped artist for a number of reasons, but I’m also sad for the state of arts education in general that so many *artists* seem to believe that the primary purpose of art is to be impressive. It’s not! You do art to learn it and learn yourself as an artist!
