Ah! But therein lies the rub: Creating jobs means having to pay wages to people and that is something corporations have been striving to eliminate for decades now.
Not all delivery trucks are justifiable in cities. We can create jobs, boost sustainable transportation, and create safer streets with better infrastructure through cargo bike logistics.
The solutions, designs, and tools already exist. All we seem to lack is the political will to implement them.
