Research software engineer hailing from theoretical physics. Reproducibility and software-testing are my unfortunate pet-peeves.
That and also the car immediately to the right appears to at least jut out into the bus lane.

And all I can think of is:
"It's hip to be square!"

Look. They are canning themselves. Now we will only have to weld the doors shut from the outside, then the air vents and the problem will solve itself in due course.

I admit my first thought went to AI, too, before I remembered that bioluminescence exists. Now I need to go and read up on the process, since the localisation to the dolphin body or only to the wave crests seems more specific than what I remember.

I admit to keeping mine 1-row, but the desktop switching that's been available for way more than 15 years is invaluable to me.

Init levels.
Specifically: Init 3 for all my SBCs that are operated via SSH but which I can still get a graph. desktop via VNC if needed.

I mean Jesus probably existed, but the other two? Nah.

I'm an #agnostic , but if people keep shoving religion in my face, boy will I become the radical #atheist

I need to know the plug maker. To be honest a "calming plug for your pet" seems like a prime snake oil label to me.

That angel looks very miffed.

My understanding of the original post was that it pertained to the integer operations themselves, which was surprising to me as I am not aware of rounding for such.

Oh look they're doing electronics deliveries now. And on wheels, too! I was just looking to stock up for my DIY projects.

Oh the graphics are well chosen here.

Welp. I see what's gonna be my death in the next chapter. 😅

Thanks for the heads-up!

Then again, the more I think about it, would this be equivalent to a simple disc but with just 3 cogs at 120° angles?
November 14, 2025 at 10:23 PM
I don't think so. A circular disc allows for smooth movement, but a triangular one?
My gut tells me that there should be something akin to a "slip" when a triangle corner leaves the chain or a strain at the peak extension.

Well Sonar has certainly been swinging.
