The "I woke up from a nap and our bus driver was kidnapping us" thread and the "I didn't get as many likes as I wanted so this place is unsustainable" post both going viral in the same day is the ultimate in kismet but also definitive proof that this place does, in fact, have the juice

I put a sleepy time tea in a basket on a website for a well known Canadian tea shop, but decided instead to buy a different tea from a local shop, and have, ever since, received four or five emails A DAY asking me if I’m ever going to buy the tea. Like, no, not now bitch!

I’m living a nightmare where there is zero soundproofing between apartments. The main floor couple’s bedroom is right below mine. They go to bed much earlier than me and one of them snores like a bear eating a chainsaw. I think due to allergies. They’re decent people, but it’s driving me insane.

It does seem like regular people understand the assignment while politicians are more concerned that their “go along because it benefits me” grift will be disrupted. It already has been, you just can’t see it yet, so you might as well fight the powers that be, is a strong message to counter this.
Good summary of “don’t give him what he wants” from relatively comfortable white liberals.

For real tho, Crave is apparently working on a queer softball series called Slo Pitch starring Emily Hampshire.
The next Crave Original Series:

I fully expect a Heated Rivalry, curling edition to be the next big hit.

Seriously, good for Bo. Liked him on the Jays, and at least I can cheer for the Mets. Though he *was* injured a lot, and I’m not really sure where he fits on a team with more infielders than infielding positions. Maybe they’re gonna sneak him in between first and second?

Losing Bo AND we didn’t get Tucker. Great job as always, front office. Did we at least get somebody to stock the pop machines in the clubhouse?

This place is a tomb! I’m going to the nut shop where it’s fun!

Just kidding, I’m going to the iron infusion shop, where they put iron in my blood. Fun in its own way! (Truly, there’s a Bulk Barn near the clinic, so I’m gonna get some bulk candy!)

It is really hard for local papers financially. But imho when everybody is trying to tune into your coverage a leaky paywall or tip jar prompt (with Apple pay) could be a way to net more revenue/subscribers/overall loyalty.

That said, the key info is in the dek. www.startribune.com/ice-agent-wh...
