First off you should be active law enforcement. The cops are bad! But even if you don't want to be ... if you can't figure out the messaging to articulate the gap between ICE and law enforcement generally ... you are not good enough at politics to have a job.

A few flaws here
1. They aren't specialist, they're flamed out mallcops who got access to a bunch of weapons and authority neither of which they know how to wield.

It’s worth considering that an overnight dismantling of ICE in 2029 would release into the wild a whole herd of specialists in violence with scant other marketable skills.

In no way am I disputing the evilness of many of these guys, but also, some saw The End Of History in 1992 and just believed that to be the case and said "society solved" and are just kinda spinning wheels waiting for a broken system to self correct.
I know its intentional, but dem politicians talking about cops like the entire country didn’t watch hours upon hours of footage of them running over protesters, shooting journalists in the head with less lethals, cracking protester heads on the pavement just 5 years ago…
