I think (hope) this is true, and the reason why is that they do not understand that being human comes from community and solidarity gives us strength. The emptiness in their hearts made them blind to the power in ours and they don't have the guts for this, but we do because we have each other.
We may be entering the "these people know they've lost and are going to cravenly start backstabbing each other so they can claim they were on the right side of history" stage

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

People have been getting gassed and shot at and harmed by the state constantly for decades (and especially the past several years) ... they've actually learned stuff and adjusted like people with a brain do, a concept the entire fascist movement is unfamiliar with.

This is not true. Walz has the authority to call in the national guard to enforce restrictions on ICE. He and Frey can order police to arrest ICE agents that break the law. He and Frey can order police not to arrest protestors or activists. He, Frey, and Klobs can amplify the voices on the street.
Nothing Tim Walz or Amy Klobuchar say will change a thing. You made sure of that in November 2024.

First off you should be active law enforcement. The cops are bad! But even if you don't want to be ... if you can't figure out the messaging to articulate the gap between ICE and law enforcement generally ... you are not good enough at politics to have a job.

A few flaws here
1. They aren't specialist, they're flamed out mallcops who got access to a bunch of weapons and authority neither of which they know how to wield.

It’s worth considering that an overnight dismantling of ICE in 2029 would release into the wild a whole herd of specialists in violence with scant other marketable skills.

Sometimes it really bends my mind that a bunch of rich people built an infinite wealth machine of imperial capital and by just being a little Not Evil and making people a Little Less Broke could have had that forever and instead they are just tanking it because like black people have rights.
