If you honestly believe that there should be one standard for white/European/Christian/male/straight/etc. and a different standard for everyone else, then "hypocrisy" is a meaningless term. They're happy to have you finally acknowledge that the rules are different for them.

You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.

"The administration has just announced they're moving on from Minneapolis. And while that statement should not be accepted at face value, it should be seen as an admission of defeat. They tried to force their will and their reality on the city, but its people refused to bend."
Thank you Minnesotans.

"Epstein class" it is then.
"Epstein class" is terrific not simply because several of them are directly tied to Epstein's crimes, but because it strikes at the corruption, immorality and impunity of that entire circle.
Ossoff: We were told that MAGA was for working-class Americans. But this is a government of, by, and for the ultra-rich. It’s the wealthiest Cabinet ever. This is the Epstein class. They are the elites they pretend to hate.

At least part of that is due to their tardiness. People have been screaming about this for years, decades, and only now (after their years of normalizing this crap) do they decide to do an actual journalism.

Good. "But DHS isn't just ICE, it's also..." nope, wrong. DHS no longer serves any useful functions, the whole thing has been reassigned to repression. FEMA isn't even paying out to states. All DHS does is shooting, teargassing, facial recognition, and administrative warrants. Shut it down.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Thursday that demands made by Democrats for new restrictions on federal immigration officers are “unrealistic” and warned that the Department of Homeland Security will shut down next week if they do not work with Republicans and the White House.

"We would have lost so much if we'd driven him away" is the justification.

But we lost all those girls. We lost the women they would have become. We lost the work they would have done. Why was his future work so much more valuable than theirs?

Abolish ICE and fire all agents is the moderate position.
I just got tear gassed along with thousands of union members, many of whom had their families with them. Federal agents at the ICE facility tear gassed children. We must abolish ICE, DHS, and we must have prosecutions. I expect to see enforcement of our city code prohibiting the use of tear gas.
