which is great! I love to learn about why I shouldn’t rinse my roasted chiles (pictured here), or the variety of relish types in regional American cooking. I also love the subtle “…you idiot” tone that sometimes accompanies.

This is going to make it harder to communicate the actual dangers of acetaminophen to people.
(Really easy to overdose - it’s in lots of combo meds, importantly lots of combo OTC meds - & overdose is Real Bad.)

Personally I think it's great that my company's HR sends out an official looking tool where they even ask you to pre-populate your healthcare providers and instead of being the actual insurance enrollment process it's just some bullshit checklist to try and convince me I actually don't want a PPO

I bought a catnip plant, had it outside. Saw the little cat sitting in one of the big storage baskets, like she does. So I got the catnip plant & dropped it in with her.
There’s shredded plant material & potting soil all over the living room now. Sorry to the other cats who didn’t get to enjoy it.

I’m at that stage in the project lifecycle where I fantasize about throwing my work computer out the window & trying to climb out myself, but my hatred of everything ever keeps getting derailed bc any time I start thinking about how much this sucks, my brain tags on “…said the Little Red Hen.”

This is a point I can 100% endorse. We’re 14 months out from the end of the first term and some of the Trump regulations which were barely halted at the end are still on the books (but enjoined). He needs to get those regs off the books and replaced ASAP.
