Here they are, the Senators that can sleep at night with their Cadillac healthcare plan while 42 million Americans are denied AFFORDABLE healthcare.

Fetterman we expect, but @kaine.senate.gov we supported him for VP!
He’s the most disappointing of them all!

Time to step down, @schumer.senate.gov
We had all the momentum

•The American people were blaming Republicans

•A landslide Democratic victory

•Courts ordering Trump to fund SNAP benefits

Yet you couldn't convince your caucus to fight for us

It's the final straw that breaks the back of your tenure as leader, Senator

Time to step down
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Absolutely and indubitably true.
In a functional party system, this kind of capitulation in the face of authoritarianism could mean the end of the Democratic Party.

In our system, it could mean the end of the two party system. Neither party can represent the pro-democracy majority. It's time for something new.

Schumer can be removed from his Dem leadership role this week - 23 Dems (and/or independents) just have to vote to depose him

And they should, given this is his fault.
This is a lovely sentiment but Schumer isn't up for re-election until 2028 and he knows this. At which point he will be 77/78. There's no mechanism to recall a sitting senator AFAIK.
Let’s be clear: Chuck Schumer is the one ending this shutdown, no matter how the votes read.

Chuck Schumer is claiming that he’s voting no, while letting other Senators (Fetterman, Kaine, King, etc) do HIS dirty work.

He must be removed from his leadership & primaried for the sake of this country

Hi @schumer.senate.gov and @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social! If you vote for this horrible deal, I will spend the next 4 years making sure you are both primaried and retired from the US Senate.

If Schumer votes AGAINST this but enough Ds vote FOR it that it passes, he needs to RESIGN immediately.

He will have shown himself to be absolutely ineffective as a minority leader. He has to go.

Literally resign tonight.

Remember, if you accidentally misgender or deadname someone, it's very easy to just say "Shit, sorry," and then say the correct name or pronoun.

The two important follow-ups are to not rend your garments and make it all about you and to then also make sure you work hard on not doing it again.

Eric is a Missouri congressman.

He is quite literally dependent on the federal government for his paycheck, his housing, and his free healthcare. He’s a tax recipient.

Honestly at some point you have to start doing psyops with these people:

Have Obama announce that he will seek a third term tomorrow. Then watch all the con law “scholars” and Fix News MELT DOWN trying to explain why he can’t but Trump can. (It’s like Newsom taking over his social media persona)
Q: One theory on how you might try to serve a 3rd term is that you could run at the vice president

TRUMP: Yeah, I'd be allowed to do that. But I would rule that out because it's too cute.

They have about 100k subscribers these days. Maybe we will survive. Who even knows what the Post’s editorial board has to say? Keep talking. Nobody’s listening.
I wish I could say I am surprised. But I'm not. The Washington Post gives "credit to the Republican legislators of Indiana and Kansas" while criticizing "Democrats in Virginia."

Every day they find a new way to get worse. Support independent, pro-democracy Democracy Docket. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0

If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net

Given what Miller’s threat to arrest Pritzker for seditious conspiracy, I ask again:
Serious question: What's stopping the State of Illinois from arresting Stephen Miller & charging him with incitement?

The Senate didn't confirm him. He's just a guy.

At some point, the states MUST use their authority to prosecute, because the federal government certainly will not.

The most corrupt president in American history... by a mile.

Amazing, thoughtful, & coordinated team protesting! This team spent some advance thought & prep but a good way to visually make a bigger impact; both if read & impact of the volume. And all signs can be reused alone or in small groups. I'm impressed!
