It continues to amaze how the solution to this is to treat healthcare and housing as fundamental rights of living, and how conservatives continue to deny ppl that as a way to felate their ego, & maintain the horrors they claim to stand against.
Thinking today how homelessness runs through this story, through Epstein's (Virginia Guiffre had been homeless before meeting him), and even through Gaiman's (his nanny was sleeping on the beach when Palmer recruited her, and he used threats of homelessness against another victim).

For Bethesda to do this though, they'd have to admit that,
1.) There are other parts of the US besides California & New England.
2.) They'd have to learn what makes those places interesting & special.
3.) They'd have to get a writing team that's worth a damn & really feed them to make good shit.

Destroying the New California Republic just so the TV show could have a world of shit to play in was an ass decision, especially when there were still other parts of America they could have used instead.

As someone who struggles with that, let me tell you: singlepayer healthcare and a european-style "the government sends you a tax bill and you pay it or they send you a deposit" would be a way better use of that money.

Other thoughts on #HazbinHotel: I'm enjoying a lot about this season, and I think the new songs have been generally fire, especially in the latest 2 episodes, but it feels like this season is trying to spin A LOT of plates in only 8 episodes./1

I'm really enjoying the new #HazbinHotel season, but I'm really conflicted about the Vox/Charlie dynamic we are getting in response to the genocides that Heaven has perpetrated. After at least a month of trying to figure out an interesting way to incorporate my new player's Dimensional Occultist Witch w/Mythos stuff I think I finally found it. Happened thanks to a combination of Picross, player doing some vector mapping of their town, & a lot of talking./1

Finally got to watch whole pilot and 1 of my biggest takeaways is,
1.) V should be into Farm sims like Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons.

This. Either you don't need the art and the AI is unnecessary or you do for the pitch & you need a real artist to help sell what the game will look like long term, which an AI placeholder cannot communicate & therefore the AI is unnecessary.
No, using AI generated stuff as a "placeholder" on your crowdfunding campaign is not OK either.
If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.
