Vaccine rates for flu and covid are way down this fall but that shit is out there kicking asses left and right. Go get your jabs, you can do both at once!
"The time to get vaccinated is now," the CDC says. The first child has died from flu in the U.S. this year, and the CDC is closely tracking a variant that might not be well-matched to the vaccine - but so far, it looks like the shot is still protective. My latest: www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
CDC officials urge US flu vaccination after record child deaths last year
Americans told ‘time to get vaccinated is now’ as concerning mutation of influenza virus circulates in US

Do people on Linkedin know that they can make an honest post about the negative aspects of AI without a "don't get me wrong..." caveat?

I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.
I have grown to believe that excessive wealth does something to your brain that is analogous to a serious head injury

For the past month I have been taking a weekly écorché sculpture class at Ghosthouse Fine Art Studio, which just wrapped up yesterday. My sculpting experience is pretty limited so this class definitely challenged me to understand and visualize the human body in new (to me) ways.

Always, I love to share things I know with people who are curious!!!
Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.

I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

This kind of BS is so insulting to those of us who put deliberate care and thought into crafting scientific figures. The images are supposed to SHOW SOMETHING and to CLARIFY information. What is the point of having an image full of nonsense?? #fuckAI
Uhh,,, Figure 1 shows you... what exactly? Trying to understand Medical fryrmbial, runctitional features and mum's legs going through concrete.

This whole article is a bit of a disaster. And it's very difficult to find other published work for the author. Strange! 🧪

Earlier this year I created twelve medical illustrations for Herbal Gut Health by Maria Noël Groves. Unique to this project, I adapted my digital illustration workflow to emulate the appearance of watercolors to match the traditional media used by the other artists whose work appears in the book.
