Everybody, get used to calling your senators. And your reps.

Get real comfortable with it.

We're going to be doing it A LOT.

Look up your reps at

(16) 4-5 story single stair buildings.

this piece has been in the works a while but honestly i could not have asked for a better foil than ezra klein's interview with ta-nehisi coates. klein longs for peacetime--but you don't get to decide when you're in a fight.

Democrats Must Embrace War Mindset
We have exited a long period of peace and entered into a struggle not unlike war, in which all the old certainties have gone malleable and the future of the republic is at stake.

We need to Primary Everyone. Given how few competitive seats there are, primaries are the only way to either oust or wake up complacent incumbents.

Grid for people, cul-de-sac for cars.

The template is, the right drives this dumb shit into the conversation, the reactionary centrists take the baton and push it into mainstream media, and then everyone asks, "why are Dems focusing on this stuff?"

They aren't, you credulous fucking dipshits! They didn't do this!

It's really key to understand this: ***they don't need actual backlash of any substance or scale to run this cycle***. All they need is a few random comments, which they can always find, which means that you can basically run this cycle at will. You don't need libs to play along at all!

Democrats in #waleg and @governorferguson.bsky.social should call a special session to pass new taxes on the rich and big corporations to backfill federal cuts especially to health care. The rich and big corporations can clearly afford it - it’d essentially restore the rates they’re paying now.
