This is significant.
Canada is the only non-European country to sign on to a program that allows access for low-interest loans for the joint procurement of military gear and weapons. It gives Canadian companies access to bid on European projects.

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?

It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old door

This story infuriated me, and broke my heart, in equal measure.

When she said "Bye house" after being bum-rushed by the cops, out of her apartment, for a crime she didn't commit, radicalized me.

The story about "Influencers" getting paid bank to shovel AI into everyone's greedy eyes/ears has me eyeballing "popular Tech-Tubers" with the most jaundiced side-eyes.

Wonder how much money schools/educators get ?
AI is so inherently popular that companies are paying influencers up to $600,000 to tell people how awesome it is:

A decade-by-decade look at why and when housing became unaffordable.

"Why?" - Neoliberalism. Thanks for coming to my PNW TED Talk.

"When?" - It started becoming unaffordable in the 90s but the later period of Near Zero interest rates in 20xx cinched it.

I don't think most people understand just how much mistreatment of workers there is in the games industry and just how bad it is sometimes.
I do love being in a union and feeling like I'm helping ppl but omg do games studios like making life difficult for so many workers! Dealing with management nonsense, even in relatively decent companies, is freaking exhausting!
