This was truly one of the highlights of my trip. Now, with pareidolia, I know some people will see through the mimicry right away, while others raise an eyebrow in confusion. I tried to photograph it the best way I could. Let me know if you can see the snake head!

On Christmas Day I will be cooking with my daughter. She has a Gantt chart, which delivers the whole meal on time!

Ah… emptied the campervan today and in the boot were the four missing #pitfall trap samples from France this year!

Good news found them; bad news more samples to pick, #ants to point and ID 🤣

Fortunately they are nicely labelled, in pure EtOH so all will be fine!
Four small sample pots with narrow pencilled paper labels hold samples in alcohol from pitfall traps. The pots are in pairs in ziplock bags.
