I see all these conversations happening telling people not to consume new holiday decor every year and am slightly perplexed because I thought a significant charm of the holidays is pulling out the same old decor that's been a part of your Christmas for 42 years.

Hi! People are allowed hope and joy, actually! And one good night doesn't erase that our federal government is still authoritarian! Both can be true! Love you!

I was so frustrated that I had to go outside about it. Not looking forward to untangling the mess.
Logged into QuickBooks today and discovered that it doesn’t have all of my recent sales listed, and what it does have listed are all listed as Invoices for some unholy reason that probably starts with a and ends in i.

I really love this Vincent Van Gogh quote:

"To do good work one must eat well, be well housed, have one's fling from time to time, smoke one's pipe, and drink one's coffee in peace."

No romanticizing the starving artist. Van Gogh said UBI all the way.

Many consider Halloween 'queer Christmas'. Connection between Halloween & the Queer are complex. In the 50s & 60s anti-cross-dressing laws were not enforceable on Halloween. It's also a holiday that embraces upheaval of normalcy & the social order, which is entwined with Queer identity. #QHM25

A 'Lavender Marriage' was a euphemism referring to a marriage that a queer person engaged in to appear straight. One or both members of a couple could be queer. The term is used less now, as same-sex marriage becomes legal in more countries. #QHM25 #MarriageEquality #QueerHistory
