Buying a new advent calendar every year feels a bit strange to me as well. I had a home made one as a kid, and my best friend had one they reused every year, so that was what was normal growing up, and still is a bit.

Well this is horrifying.

When people say that to me I’m like, you may have not had doubts, but I had many.

My mother is constantly amazed when I am able to do things because I looked up how to do it online.

I do! I’ve done so off and on since childhood but in oct 2021 I started writing in one every day and haven’t missed a day since!

My cat Cassie will come up to me or my gf & pap us with a paw to let us know when her brother is in the bed she wants in. She’ll run back & forth between whichever human shes asking for assistance and where she wants to sleep, until we get the picture. We usually put her on the window shelf instead.

That’s so in line with all of the logic I hear from kiddos being ‘almost’ a year older. A ten year old told me he was so close to being eleven that his moms probably just put on the paperwork he was 11. It was February. His birthday was in July.

I got a legit email from ups the other day and I was CONVINCED it was spam. It was not. The 250 envelopes I ordered were shipped.
