I’m not sure how many have read about the hardcore undocumented immigrant crackdown in Alabama back in 2011.

It was an epic failure. They lost tons of food and it was a huge income loss for Alabama.

Wow, the wording here is amazing!!

TRUMP: You have to bring in talent

INGRAHAM: Well, we have plenty of talented people in America

TRUMP: No you don't. No.

INGRAHAM: We don't have talented people here?

This is very important.

Our power is not in our money, our power is in withholding our money from the richest Americans.

They have more money, but there’s far more of us — if we coordinate.

A general strike seems like the best way to tell them we’re not gonna take it!!

Who wants to take bets that Johnson wants to tank this “deal” because he doesn’t want to bring the House back into session?
Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?

MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Grotesque!! Forcing a 13 year old to “self deport” without even seeing his parents.

I’m livid. What fucking nightmare are we putting people through for our white supremacy…?
A few weeks ago I wrote about a 13 year old boy from Massachusetts who had been abducted by ICE and sent to a detention center in Virginia. I wrote about the trauma of a child being separated from his family and community, and I posed the question:

What are we doing here?

I have some updates.

Um, do federal prosecutors *really* want to take the position that it's not okay to receive something of value from … Qatar?

I can think of 747 reasons why they shouldn't. 🤔

I guess when the SCOTUS is in your pocket, there’s no reason for worrying about the Hatch Act. You can use the DOJ to persecute your enemies list, lie on government websites about your opponents — the sky is the limit.

Watch this video… 🤬
Every single time you think Trump & Co can't get worse, they prove they absolutely can & do

I looked, it's real & it's disgusting & someone on salary with IT access to the website of our nation's government did this with approval

685,000 NYPD stops on the predicate of collecting guns. Only 2% produced weapons. 85% of stops involved Black & Latino men. 3 terms with Bloomberg. Now these same wealthy New Yorkers insist that young & working class voters defer to the alleged “superior” judgment of the millionaires & billionaires.
The hundreds of thousands of Black & Latino men who were subjected to stop-and-frisk did not have the option to “leave NYC.” They endured the reign of Bloomberg - the beloved choice of elite New Yorkers - who even supported changing the law to give Bloomberg a 3rd term.
