I am very fortunate; my late husband and I saved and I am covered by his retiree health plan. My SSA statement for next year shows with a 2% increase my check will be less in Jan than this year because (reg) Medicare costs has gone up more. I feel for others And wonder those with Advantage plans.

Three evenings ago I read an article about using ice packs on the forehead to help beat insomnia. The original study was from 2011 IIRC. Apparently if you drop the temperature of your frontal lobe by a degree or so you trigger a cascade of sleepy time metabolic events.
