Today 31 years ago the PS1 was released. In honor of Sony Playstation 1's birthday lets unironically celebrate by rewitnessing the greatest (in my opinion) bit of voice acting speech on the platform from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

It's such a sad thing about human nature - say you absolutely loathed a book and everyone wants to know what it was.

Mention a book you loved, recommend it for readers, and the world is a chorus of crickets.

Y'all just want to hate on stuff

We broke up the banks. We broke up the railroads.
We broke up the steel companies.

We can break up the media conglomerates. We can break up the tech conglomerates.

We've done it before. We can do it again.

Seizing passports is terrifying, a big escalation but not unexpected.

Get ready next for the Trump government to start using civil forfeiture laws to steal people’s assets. Almost no doubt that’s coming down the pike.

Trump is terrified of losing the midterms.

He sees the unpopularity of his policies and his underwater poll numbers.

Expect trump to become more divisive over the coming months as he waves the red hat at his base given any opportunity.

The fact that Matthew Dowd lost his job for pointing out Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, while Brian Kilmeade openly suggests we should euthanize the homeless and there is zero outrage, shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

Just to be clear: Brian Kilmeade *did not* endorse euthanizing homeless people. He advocated MURDERING over 700,000 of them.

And on a network that has been *beside itself* over the murder of just one man this week.

Remember: The recipe for economic growth isn’t tax cuts for the rich. It’s investment in our people — in health care, infrastructure and education — to build a strong middle class.

You don't grow the economy through trickle-down nonsense.

I just can't help but reflect on Bobby Kennedy's 1968 campaign and how focused and deliberate he was on making vulnerable American lives better and using government as a means to do so. And how what's left of him must be a goddam turbine right now spinning furiously between the grass at Arlington.
