Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

Have any Indivisibles or other organizers thought about a mad billboard campaign in red states to ask people how they are feeling now? Reminding them how much of each dollar they ever earned went to Social Security or Medicare? Isn’t Social Security 12.5 cents per dollar?

Please spread awareness of the GOP's attempt to remove voting rights from millions of Americans- including 60+ million women who changed their name when they married. They can't convince us they have better policies so they want to keep us from voting. They're actively destroying democracy. #SAVEAct
The SAVE Act Would Disenfranchise Millions of Citizens
The SAVE Act would require all Americans to prove their citizenship with documentation unavailable to millions and upend the way every American citizen registers to vote.

Remember, the president does not have the authority to unilaterally shut down the Education Department. Doing so would require an act of Congress and at least 60 votes in the Senate.

Here, America, is the *real* response to Trump’s address to Congress tonight you need to hear. Circulate it as widely as you can among friends, neighbours, workmates, members of your church. Circulate it especially among Trump voters, so that they can know the needless viciousness of what he’s done.

Today, American consumers are being encouraged to abstain from purchasing any non-essential goods as part of a 24-hour buying blackout that aims to showcase the economic power of everyday people. The goal is to advocate for “economic resistance, government accountability, and corporate reform.”
Why Consumers Are Holding an 'Economic Blackout' Today
The blackout arrives as consumers are growing weary of rising prices on goods and services.

Why is this not already happening?”

one thing that's worth pointing out about the current wave of constituent fury at Republican town halls: the reason you're primarily seeing those viral moments in ruby red districts is because every Republican whose district is even remotely competitive is actively hiding from their constituents
