McGovern: "The reality is that some people's premiums are going up 100%, and their big grand plan is to give people an 11% coupon. I mean, this is laughable. It is pathetic ... they are unbelievably out of touch. Republicans have spent a year screwing over the people they represent."

The media needs to stop writing headlines like “The CDC changes course on vaccines and autism” and “The CDC defends measles response”.

NONE of this is coming from legitimate scientists at the CDC.

ALL of it is coming from RFK Jr.

Every such headline is causing further harm to public health.

Donald Trump is mentally unwell. Any reporter who covers him as if this should not be considered and addressed when writing about his acting as “President” is seriously failing at their job.

AOC: I want to remind you where the real crime is. It's in the oligarchs taking $170 billion of our money from health care and food assistance and public programs and taking that and funneling it into a secret police program.

Embarrassing and shameful response from an American President. This is sick stuff.

Speaker Johnson, will you condemn these comments or just say you have not seen or heard them?

With just 17 days until Obamacare tax credits expire, it’s now clear: Congress—and the country—are headed over the Obamacare cliff. Even if the House acts, the Senate won’t move in time.

It’s outrageous that all members of Congress have great, taxpayer-funded healthcare! Screw regular Americans!!

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

On a personal note.

I knew Rob Reiner & his lovely wife Michelle. One of my happiest memories was chatting with them in their kitchen, making sandwiches talking politics, and movies.

They were kind people. Extraordinarily normal and very, very kind.

I love & miss them already.
Life is short.

You probably don't realize this because you're a rich guy. But right now, more than 25 million Americans have no health insurance. Thanks to the GOP attack on the ACA, that number is set to spike.
