I’ve seen Stancilites blocking Indigenous people who quote racist remarks from founding documents or the statements of the “fathers” while letting other leftists hammer them with accusations of fascism/racism.

I suspect that the real reason is that for things like the NHPA, interaction with Tribes is the only point in the infrastructure planning process not tied exclusively to market forces.
