HUGE news! This is about a Trump admin effort to arrest thousands of screened and vetted refugees in Minnesota and fly them to Texas to be jailed and then interrogated.

After the interrogation is over, people are being dumped on the street and told to find their own way back.

“ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”
BREAKING: Judge Patrick Schiltz cancels contempt hearing Friday where ICE chief Todd Lyons was to be forced to testify, but excoriates ICE for defying almost 100 court orders in last month. "ICE is not a law unto itself," Schiltz writes. Doc: www.documentcloud.org/documents/26...

An extraordinary document. Read it.

“Attached to this order is an appendix that identifies 96 court orders that ICE has violated in 74 cases. … ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”

For example the video yesterday of "ICE IS GASSING A DAY CARE RIGHT NOW!!" is the daycare right up the street from my house. I about shit my pants and raced out the door until I saw it was actually from Saturday. I already dealt with that daycare gassing, thank you. Please don't lie to me for likes
Definite uptick in Bluesky content aggregators taking legit clips regarding Minnesota from a few days or weeks ago and posting them without any sort of timestamp context, which gives the impression of them happening today, which then gets clicks. Be vigilant with what and how you share.

Everyone should be putting up NO ICE NO CPB NO FEDERAL AGENTS GET A JUDICIAL WARRANT OR STAY OUT signs everywhere.
My wife told me she heard at a training she attended that ICE has argued "ALL ARE WELCOME HERE" signs are invitations to enter private spaces and if that don't beat all I don't know what does.

I am hearing that RFK Jr.’s minions are going to go after HPV vaccines. I’ve got problems with these people and now you’re going to hear about them, first from a personal perspective and then from a professional one.

It all boils down to this: WE HAVE A SAFE VACCINE THAT PREVENTS CANCER.

I don’t think people realize how rarely Republicans get angry calls from constituents.

We’ve written them off and they barely get any pressure. When they do get pressure, they aren’t used to it and they just might cave.
Warren: "I know there are Republicans right now who are seeing what we're seeing in MN, and they know it's wrong. It's time to speak out. Silence is complicity. Grow a spine, show some backbone. Being 'disturbed' doesn't change anything and the ICE agents who are waving around loaded guns know it."

The warnings highlight just how bad of an operational security screwup Flock's info sharing design was. It also shows how cops see themselves as being consistently under threat from the people it is supposed to protect. @jasonkoebler.bsky.social reports.

Here in Texas, to the Republicans and the billionaires whose power they entrench, the prospect of the Lone Star State being swept up in a similarly insurgent candidacy still sounds like its own far-fetched fantasy.

Runoff in Tarrant County set for this Saturday. It'll be an interesting snapshot to watch how Dems do in an absolutely critical county if they were to win statewide this November.

Beto won it narrowly in '18. Trump won it by 5 points in '24.

Ah, excellent. I never thought about codifying basic rules for cops into law. Now we just have to sit back & wait for the people who don't follow or enforce rules to follow & enforce all of the rules
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

The cave is on. This is toothless bullshit. @chuckschumer.com wants Trump to promise that he'll pay Tuesday for a hamburger today, and he thinks we're gonna fall for it again.
Chuck Schumer just announced demands on DHS to avoid shutdown:
1. End roving patrols, tighten rules on warrants
2. Enforce accountability & unified code of conduct for agents
3. No more masks & require bodycams

There are *already* standards on much of this.

The issue is DHS isn't following them!
