I’ve spearheaded an operation to deliver ice cold water to an encampment of unhoused neighbors.
The e-bike makes it so much easier but I’m still often having to do multiple trips a day.
We really need to fundraise for ice or an ice machine. Buying $12 of ice a day is pretty unsustainable.

Actually “the base” has had cynically “pragmatic” policies forced upon them by a patronizing establishment beholden to special interests. These supposed compromises were presented as the way to check the far right, and FAILED.

My opinion on the Trump #EPA #climate change reversal of its scientific finding that permitted EPA to regulate: it doesn't matter much. EPA never did anything substantive: our fossil fuel mining and use kept going up. The idea that we were somehow protected by regulation was propaganda.

Wish I could have had this stretch of not getting sick for over five years when I was a professional athlete though.

The real story is why *more* elite athletes are not regularly masking and occasionally quarantining as needed. If you spent years training for an event, wouldn't you take every step to ensure peak performance?
