Solarpunk communist, novid enthusiast, falconeer and member of the Not Fine Gang.

Less posting, more building.
Been missing my extremely Don Bluth coded fox avatar from back when my VR rig still worked.

A friend just sent me a screen grab from when I was using VRchat and OBS to do zoom calls so I could use the pen function to explain things.

It’s an old graph I made, but it checks out and I’m sure would look worse if it kept going.

From an awareness perspective it definitely is worse as a large percentage of covid cautious rare now formerly cautious 😫

I need to stop forgetting of the exquisite joy that comes from closing the gate of the parking lot everyone uses in my neighborhood to cut through to the frontage road.

It sure does doesn’t it? 😂

Is ai writing your posts?

The girl was a passenger in a cargo bike and a motorcycle riding on the wrong side of the road hit them killing the girl.

The ‘ol “press not have misleading headlines about vehicles killing e-bike riders challenge”

What I’m really curious about is the effectiveness of a long John cargo bike as an alternative to the Toyota Hilux as a technical vehicle.

I’ve pondered using my cargo trike in this regard but it is rather cumbersome in an urban environment.

Anywhere to test this theory @sundance.bikesky.social ?

I’m working on it.

And by working on it I mean I have some parts and the 2”x4” steel tubing to make the frame out of that I won’t be able to start cutting till mid November.

Had to sneak back on to let @sundance.bikesky.social see the perfect donor bike to get a seat and steering mechanism off of for the solar recumbent project.

Now when I get back from Cali in mid November I can really get this thing together!

I appreciate that.

It’s not that you’re wrong about it being richer, but it’s also fraught with many of the same problems and because I’m immune compromised I’m more isolated there and the pain is also richer in that regard.

But at least 👇

So the footage stopped 45 seconds in, I should have messed around a little doing some test footage first.

You’ll have to settle for a picture of my bike “the darkness” which had to suffer my putting on a show thinking I had an audience.

Gifted a few mostly broken OG Star Wars toys and I tell ya I’m real tempted to craft a mini bullitt to put this on 😂

I can’t believe we’re already at lucky number 7! And for tonight’s ride there’s finally going to be a new member.

No, not a fellow cycling Marxist silly.

It’s a 360° camera to record it for posterity, so yeah…dipping my toe into that shit.

Kinda set it up for them when biden said the pandemic was over while only 20% of people were staying up to date on shots and even if they were getting their Covid card punched once or twice a year getting vascular and brain damage.

Us vulnerable folx have been screaming from the rooftops.

The overnight oats quartet that’s been my cheap and easy breakfast becomes a quintet.

1 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup dried cranberries

One scoop PB powder

One scoop huel black

8 cacao wafers

Mix that all up with one cup water and you know the rest.

It is nearly time for the sixth edition of this ride.

Still no joiners on account that there’s probably only ten communists in austin and of those ten four only four ride bikes and of those four zero live in the northern quadrant.

Not really, but it does feel that way.

Saw a big stupid truck on my way to the weekly food pantry pickup and said to myself if it was still there on my way back I would do something about it.

It was.

As I was letting the air out of the tires the owners were scrambling to get to me before I was finished and even threw a brick at me 1/

Where’s the Atreides house atomics when you need them?

A lazgun and a shield generator could be used in a pinch.
