Y’all have no idea how long I still had the original bluesky app icon before I had to update to get it to work again.

Watched this last year for Xmas with my partner who does unhoused work with me.

It’s a great film, like all Satoshi Kon’s work to introduce the uninitiated to the high art section of anime. It’s not just for kids.

One wonders if they are just as vigilant with their phone when they plug it in before bedtime 🤔

Been missing my extremely Don Bluth coded fox avatar from back when my VR rig still worked.

A friend just sent me a screen grab from when I was using VRchat and OBS to do zoom calls so I could use the pen function to explain things.

Also, you can’t trust the NYT brains. They’ll only betray you.

It still stands as my favorite of the post e3/4/5 films.

That being said, after doing my first rewatch I liked it less because “Andor” was so damned good it took some shine off the film

One wonders how R1 would have been if the studio just let them cook like they did with the first season of Andor

I’m used to not being very popular but this is ridiculous.

It’s an old graph I made, but it checks out and I’m sure would look worse if it kept going.

From an awareness perspective it definitely is worse as a large percentage of covid cautious rare now formerly cautious 😫

That’s cool as hell.

I really need to build a weatherproof e-bike, I do have a battery that is completely potted in resin to start with.

There were so many talents that absolutely filled out the roles in the 1984 Dune that just fell flat in Dennis’ version imo and hers was definitely one of those.

Now my childhood worlds are colliding, I had no idea but I haven’t seen that movie since I was little. Thanks for this!

A motivated individual with a fire extinguisher filled with paint could cripple the whole lot of these in one fell swoop and create quite the hassle for the vultures.

We even have a backup plan for inclement weather by using the underutilized covered break area at the industrial park I use in my “one communist in austin riding a bike ride” series.

Yeah, it’s still just me 😫

The upside is that we can still have gatherings while not pretending that it’s 2019.

My partner and I are going to host an outdoor solidarity supper on Friday with the rest of our Covid cautious mutual aid collective. There will be a bonfire, spaced out tables and Karaoke!

The costco coughing index (CCI) has never failed as a barometer of how bad it’s getting out there and it looks like the wave is already creeping up before the holiday get togethers which is a bad sign.

Looks like it’s going to be a long dark winter for those of us that observe.
