Just your run-of-the-mill sock puppet with useless opinions. Never mind me.
Hey, remember those 'interest only' mortgages before the housing bubble burst?

You're smarter than the current administration.
One CEO called the idea a “disgusting insult” and “economic genocide against the Gen Z generation.” 👀

TRUMP: The economy is as strong as it's ever been

INGRAHAM: Then why are people saying they're anxious about the economy?

TRUMP: I don't know they are saying that. The polls are fake. We have the greatest economy we've ever had

Yeah, dipshit, everyone wants to be poor enough to qualify for food stamps. It's great fun barely getting by and stressing the fuck out every single minute of every fucking day.

Fucking moron.
Trump claims that food stamps "puts the country in jeopardy. People that are able-bodied can do a job, they leave their job because they figure they can pick this up, it's easier."

Dirty secret of getting health insurance as an entrepreneur or freelancer...

Marry someone with company insurance.

Or run for Congress and win.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Pirro: "Mr President, there is in this room a group of people who love you, who believe in you, and who are so proud to be in this Oval Office and to be part of this amazing day because you have changed the course of America."

A new study shows rents for low-wage Atlanta tenants are rising *9 times* faster than for wealthy renters.

The affordability crisis is everywhere: housing, healthcare, food, electricity, survival itself.

And the party that won big on "affordability" last week just turned around and surrendered it.
Study: Rents for low-wage Atlantans rose 9 times faster than for high earners
Rents for suburban workforce housing in the metro Atlanta region increased by almost 20%, while rents for luxury units increased by 2%, a study said.

Reminder that, unless a creative freelancer has a spouse with a day job that offers health insurance, they likely have an ACA plan. And with the hits to creative industries the past few years, I'm guessing many qualify for subsidies.

Related reminder that comic creators are freelancers.
The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

I find it ironic that people are upset Schumer couldn't keep all Dems 'in line' but the problem with Republicans is they remain 'in line' no matter how much damage they do?

When will Republican votes matter? When will people say Republicans need to grow backbones?

Any normal person who won the lottery and it would be like, “Quit work, help friends and family, do fun things, and donate to places I think are doing good.”

No one is like, “I’ll make sure people in need are denied help, spread hate, be hateful, and whine because no one likes me.”

Conservative policies are all predicated on myths and rely on simple solutions.

These people don’t live in reality.

They live in a fantasy world where they’re heroes, saviors, and sages who‘ll save humanity from an imagined enemy.

They are all 12-year-olds living in the Marvel Universe.

Donald Trump has asked his employees on the Supreme Court to overrule lower court orders demanding that he fulfill his duties to feed Americans who are due SNAP benefits

AND

He's demanding that states which just rushed to fill the vacuum created by his cruelty "undo" that work.
NEW: The Trump admin told states it must immediately "undo" the work to provide full food stamp benefits, or face penalties. The feds sent this in a late-night memo, only adding to the chaos and confusion around SNAP. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...

The filibuster is saving the GOP from implementing Trump’s destructive policies.

When Republicans can pass Trump’s unpopular policies without opposition, it becomes a loyalty test. They support Trump or they help their constituents. They can’t do both.

Let the GOP face the monster they created.
one thing i find crazy-making is the idea that getting rid of the filibuster would make congress a purely majoritarian institution. bicameralism itself is counter-majoritarian! equal state representation is counter-majoritarian! the fact that senate elections are staggered is counter-majoritarian!
